The Spawn Point is where a player initially begins their game upon creation of a new world file. Players will spawn on the outskirts of the Grasslands biome, on the beach and will go from there to survive on the island. The spawn point is also where the player returns to if they died, or used a Recall Potion.
Changing the Spawn[ | ]
Once a player has crafted and placed a Bed, they may right click on it to change the location of their spawn point. Instead of their initial spawn, the player will now appear here when they die or use a recall potion.
Tips[ | ]
It is advised to make a bed as soon as you can so you can move your spawn to a more favorable area. A player should construct walls or barricades to protect their spawn point from hostile creatures that appear at night.
