Defence is a measure of reducing damage a player suffers from when getting attacked by hostile Creatures. A player's defensive score is increased primarily through the equipping of many different varieties of Armour or Accessories.

Every point of defence reduces an enemy's attack by 1, but the minimum damage any attack can do is 1 point, no defence score can make a player immune to damage itself.

Creatures do not have a defence score, and supplement this by having higher amounts of health, and how limited the player is doing damage at that level in the game with the Weapons they can make at the time.
