The Mines biome are found deeper underground in small areas throughout the caves. Mines occupy sub-levels three and four, and are arranged in straight tunnels that frequently criss-cross with one another in a grid-like fashion. Copper and Iron ore deposits are commonly found, rocks, flint, and boulders are also found blocking some passages, and ruined boards can be harvested for a good source of planks.

Tips[ | ]
The tunnels can make good choke points for filtering hostile mobs, with some passages blocked by boulders to make effective barriers. The tunnels are always aligned in a grid fashion which make the mines easy to navigate.
