The swamp biome makes up a small portion of the surface layer, It comprises mostly mucky water, dense leafy vegetation, both passable and impassable, bark thicket and muddy ground. You can find harvestable trees and reeds unique to the swamp areas as well as lily pads that act as islands of solid ground in the water tiles. There are poisonous snakes and frogs specific to this biome but other land animals and birds will wander into it too.

Additional mobs will spawn through the night. It is recommended that the player build walls for safety. Snakes can poison the player, but drop venom sacs that can be used to craft poison antidotes.
