Wheat can only be obtained by farming and is used in crafting bread, pizza, and animal feed.

You can grow wheat by placing 
grain on land tilled with a hoe.
Obtaining Seeds[ | ]
You can obtain grain in two ways—long grass and wheat. Destroying long grass has a chance of dropping grain. Alternatively, each wheat can be crafted into 2 grain.
Harvesting[ | ]
Harvesting a grown wheat plant will drop 1 wheat and only has a chance of dropping 1 grain. Therefore, you must craft some of the wheat into grain in order to fully replant a field.
